We want to lead the way
and take social responsibility

Every single day we work to develop and expand our sustainable services –– both in Denmark and around the world.

In 2018, e-Boks joined the UN Global Compact to help promote positive global development. In many ways, it's an extension of the work we're already doing today. But we want to set the bar higher. For example, we have set ambitious targets for reducing paper and water consumption, and we want to guarantee more citizens their legal rights by spreading more digital mailboxes internationally.

In our journey towards creating better digital societies, we are helping enterprises and public authorities decrease their environmental footprint, phasing out one piece of paper at a time.

Un Global Compact plakat

Reducing emissions

Digital post eliminates the physical transportation of letters, saving the environment large amounts of CO₂ emissions.

Saving paper

We help save tons of paper by shifting from physical documents to digital post.

Human rights

Our postboxes strengthen people’s legal rights and identities and enable secure and transparent access to public and private institutions.

Carbon neutral data

By 2030, our goal is to rely on 100% carbon neutral data from our data centre suppliers.

Protecting water

Paper requires large amounts of water. By going paperless, we help save tons of water.

Reducing space

Our platform stores your documents safely throughout a lifetime without taking up any physical space.

We have built our business on the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and UN Sustainable Development Goals to uphold our responsibilities to people and the planet.

Our vision is to create better digital societies, and with that comes a desire to continue to contribute to the sustainable development of society through the digital transformation we have experienced in Europe in recent years.

In recent years, we have worked strategically with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), where we have put responsible production (SDG 12), reduction of CO₂ emissions (SDG 13) and the citizen's right to data protection (SDG 16) at the centre of our business and services.

Our ambition is that by 2030, we will have reduced paper consumption by reaching our goal of sending out 1.5 billion digital documents through our platforms and having 30 million users. At the same time, we have set ourselves the goal of being 100% carbon neutral by 2030. Every year we will plant 10,000 trees through Trees for the Future.org, resulting in 120,000 trees planted by 2030.
